Homepage of Paul Holleis (PhD)

I no longer work as a senior researcher within the Technical Investigation and Scouting Group at DOCOMO Euro-Labs, a leading European Research Lab for novel mobile services. Previously I was working within or contributing to various other internal groups such as Cloud Technology Research Group, Technology Trends and Business Development, and Smart and Secure Services Reseach Group.

During several years I also took over the responsibility for managing and streamlining the patent process within the research group. Besides core work responsibilities, I am also part of the Safety Committee and first-aider for the company.

Until end of 2008, I was working as research assistant at the Universität Duisburg-Essen in Essen at the Chair for Pervasive Computing and the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich at the Chair for Media Informatics (Lehr- und Forschungseinheit Medieninformatik). In the research group "Embedded Interaction" we conducted research about new means and models for humans to interact with ubiquitous computers (and vice versa).

I am also continuing to work in my free time on a toolkit for combining hardware and software devices with a variety of different underlying technologies targeted at different user groups. See https://wiki.medien.ifi.lmu.de/HCILab/EiToolkit for some (outdated) information.
